Morning ladies so today I want to talk hair care. I don't know about you but one of the many symptoms of perimenopause can be hair loss & the older we get, if we don't decide to go down the natural route, then with trying to keep up with the every growing white/grey hairs, we can find our hair becoming drier & in need of some additional TLC with the shorter time period between hair dyes.

So what do I think of my new hairdryer? Well as you may recall it's been a while since I've used a hairdryer to style my hair, as I tend to use a rotating styling tool. So how does it work? Well their LightCare ™ is designed to directly dry water on the surface of your hair with light energy & warm air & has a lower drying temperature of 44 degrees C, without sacrificing speed. On top of this it retains 2 x the internal moisture, locks in colour & in turn leads to stronger hair. Whilst the hair cuticles remain flat for enhanced smoothness & shine. After all whilst the surface of our hair should be dry it's vital that the inside of each strand retains its natural levels of moisture to keep its structure & strength. After automated tests to optimise & validate the brand's design, the hair dryer was found to promote an increased 17% in smoother hair, leaving it more hydrated, with less heat damage, which in turn makes it feel & look more luxurious. On top of this a 38% increase in hair shine, with hair cuticles lying flat, resulting in more light being reflected in a single direction. Plus 57% colour retention, with longer lasting colour due to its cooler temperature to slow down colour loss & finally 9% increase in hair strength.
As you can see in the below photo, not only is my hair a lot smoother & softer. The drying time was a lot quicker & more even than with a normal hair dryer, as well as there was a noticeable difference to heat - so much cooler than a normal hair dryer, which of course makes it easier to use in summer, not to mention kinder on both my scalp & hair.
