Morning ladies. So it's that time of the month again & time to take a peak at all the new in delights Baukjen has to offer us this month. There's lots of gorgeous temptations that I have to admit despite not wanting summer & the heat to end anytime soon has got me looking forward to Autumn & the change in dressing. I love the tiered skirt detailing & it's the sort of dress that would get its wear all year round - pair with sandals & a straw basket on cooler summer days & then layer with a chunky knit & boots for cooler days.

Finally we all know I'm partial to a frill detail or two so I just had to include the above denim shirt in this month's picks.

So what did I pick this month? Well I couldn't resist sticking with what I call the French classics - their Ayla Top, the Magnolia Trousers, their Ashley Top, which I now have in multiple colours because I love it so much & finally their Paola Chinos.
In terms of sizing I went for my normal size (UK8) in both the trousers & then because I wanted a more relaxed fit in the tops sized up to a UK10. I love the higher waist design on both the trousers - I didn't expect the chinos to have so a lovely texture as they do & the slightly cropped leg & on trend cut make these a great wardrobe staple. Perfect for wearing with all kinds of footwear from sandals, to trainers, ballet pumps & even in the colder months ankle boots. A great dress up or down kind of pair of chinos that looks great paired with their Ashley Top but equally with a tailored or boyfriend shirt, blazer/biker jacket & of course a cashmere knit.

As for the Magnolia Trousers, these are a really flattering high waisted design, that would go perfectly with their Vanity Wool Blend Blazer. I've teamed them today with a classic crew neck stripe top & ballet pumps but the trousers would equally look great with heels or trainers teamed with a simple crew neck jumper or even a statement blouse for a night out.
