Morning ladies I'm styling up the humble crew neck cardigan today. A great wardrobe staple that is just perfect for adding a layer on cooler days.
The one I'm wearing today has been sent to me by Kettlewell Colours & is a mixture of cotton and cashmere, so lovely & soft & it's a great weight too. I just love this shade of grey teamed with denim & cornflower blue so I'm keeping today's outfit nice & simple & injecting a bit of interest with some good old fashioned 'Bet'.

Hi Jane - really nice look. Have to share what I've been up to today; I went to a Boden Clearance Sale. Oh my! Have just totted up and I reckon I have £1200 worth of goodies for the princely sum of £250!!!! I loved it! I got a coatigan, coat, Alexis snow leopard boots for £20, beautiful cerise chiffon layer Pandora skirt for £15, party dress £20, tops £10 the list goes on. Even the navy strappy bar shoes for £10 as they were deemed faulty but I have looked and looked and cannot see anything. So I am sorted for Ascot, a wedding and a holiday - just needed to share as I'm just amazed!! If you get chance to go to one of these it's a must!! There were lots of Mums there going for the Mini Boden so I was obviously in the right place at the right time - they even had a changing area - so I tried it all on too!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Jane you got so many bargains - well done you! I bet you couldn't believe your luck! I've never been to one of their clearance sales but will definitely be keeping a look out for one now I know that they're definitely worth going to.
DeleteEnjoy your spoils & thanks for the hot tip :-)

Really love your styling here Jane. I normally avoid crew neck as I find it's not that flattering but this outfit is lovely. Jane xx

Aww thanks Jane. I quite like crew neck cardis as you can always button them up to make a jumper! Although I think sometimes it can look a bit messy if teamed with the wrong styled collared shirt if that makes sense.
DeleteHope you're well.

LOVE cardigans. Love yours styled with the blue...perfect combo!
ReplyDeleteThanks Deborah. I think part of the reason I love a cardi is that they're not too far removed from the love of my life - jackets! Plus of course they're so useful & with weather like today an essential layer too!
