Morning ladies it's been an early start for me this morning as I'm London bound with my mum & sister to celebrate Mother's Day. So breakfast & bubbles on the train before a couple of hours round the shops, followed by a leisurely lunch & cocktails catching up & putting the worlds to rights.

In honour of the occasion I'm breaking out a new purchase I managed to grab in the sales. A total dream (never going to own) investment piece but following a little windfall after seeing if I was due anything back from PPI & getting lucky, I decided to invest in an item that has been on my wish list for ages. Something that will last me a lifetime & when an email pinged into my inbox notifying me it was reduced by 40% & there was just my size left.....well it was just meant to be!
I'm keeping the rest of my look classic & simple & finishing off with my ever comfy ballet flats, which are just perfect for a day that's going to involve a lot of walking. Plus the fact we're out tonight at quiz night so I need to make sure my feet are still talking to me!
