WIW - Another Lucky Ebay Find

Happy Saturday ladies.  So it's no secret I love a jacket or two & that I have a weakness for anything by the designer Isabel Marant, whose style I just love.  So much so the last couple of years I've tried to invest in a couple of pieces of her clothing each season, especially during the sales.  

Having had a recent couple of lucky preloved buys I decided to put some saved searches on the sites I use for Isabel Marant & I struck gold with this lovely quilted jacket on eBay.  A great weight & perfect for throwing on over jeans.  I orginally lost out at auction as someone pipped me to the post literally during the last second by a couple of pounds but determined not to give up hope I sent a message to the seller asking them that if the buyer didn't pay I'd happily match their price.  Well the shopping fairies were obviously on my side as several days later I had a reply back letting me know the other buyer had failed to buy the jacket & it was mine if I was still interested.  Cue happy dance & me 'clicking that button' in an instant :-)  Then a nervous couple of days wait in the hope that the jacket was as lovely on as I had imagined it was in my head.

Thankfully I'm absolutely delighted with it & it's in perfect condition.  The only snag was it was missing it's original belt but as I don't tend to wear my jackets done up for me this wasn't an issue & the best bit, I managed to purchase it at a fraction of the price & less than a jacket would cost at Zara #happydays.

Just a normal Saturday here with some errands & jobs around the house.  Then we're off to see Michael McIntyre with friends so looking forward to it - good company, food, bubbles & laughter is always so good for the soul :-)
